So, in true military style, for the umteenth time, we are going on leave next week. Paper work is sign and official. The only thing that could happen, is that they "might" need Seth back at some random time during our time in California. Crossing our fingers that they don't. So, as of yesterday, we are a go for California. Yay!
So we need to get an oil change, check fluids, and buy travel food. Yay! And do lots of laundry! I am so excited to see all our family and friends while we are down there! Ahh, it'll be soo nice.
So, remember, back in Jan, how we had that major storm that destroyed everything that was outside? Well, they are just barely cleaning up the trees. I have had tree limbs falling down for the past 2 months. They called in more people to help. Well, today, they were trimming braches, and there was a huge one that hit my screen door, and put a hole in it. But also, the dogs had put a hole in it too, so we just figured we would pay to replace it when we moved out. But because they knew they also tore it, they called maintanance and replaced the screen door! Yay for random luck!!
That's about it!

Census
I just filled out our families first Government Census. I feel so grown up! =) Haha. But now that it's over and done with (it only took like 3 min) I am at a loss as to what to do today.
Oh totally random. Apparently the housing people have decided to replace our front porch. I get a paper on my door saying they'll do it sometime this week. I wake up this morning to banging, and I peek out my window and they are already taking it apart! It doesn't look like they are done, but now noone is there. Go figure...
And also what to make for dinner tonight...? I am running out of ideas. Luckily for me, I have been able to look new ones up online, but even that is starting to get old. So, if any of you know any good reciepes that you would like to give me, call me, e-mail me, whichever.
But as I have been sitting here I think I have decided to make tamales again. Who knew that typing that you don't know what to make, gives you an idea??
Huh. But tamales always takes forever, so I am going to start the tamale time!

So, thanks to the military who likes to change their minds for no reason at all, our leave has been postponed to next month. Which means, we miss our friends wedding. Which is half the reason we were taking leave. Lame, I know. But I am glad to say, on April 4 or 5, we will (hopefully) be on our way. Speaking of delays, my grandparents motorhome broke, so they are pushing back my day of them by a week. Which works out because we are going to still be here, which we weren't going to be a week ago. But, such is life.
I have to say, that I love finding new reciepes to make. Tonight is a Honey Mustard Chicken, that is apparently to die for. Hopefully, we wont die, but it will tingle our tastbuds. Hehe. I made a funny...
Anywho, congrats to our roomie. He is a new daddy as of Friday. He is annoyed with his ex about some things, but it'll work out in the end. Hopefully, well for him.
That's about all I got. I have unfortunately been plauged my constant headaches, which makes me sad. But I will survive. Oh, we bought a new TV for me. Lol, So I can watch movies and stuff wherever I want to.
Peace, Love and Chocolate!

My day today..
So today, it started out on a lazy day. But then I got a seriously bad headache, and I became miserable. But don't worry, I didn't wallow in agony. I took some asprine, turned the music up real loud, opened the blinds and window, and did some serious deep cleaning. My thoughts on this was, if I already have a headache, I might as well work it out, and anyways, the cleaning chemicals always give me a headache, so I am already ahead of the game.
And don't get me wrong, when I said deep clean, I mean there were times I was on my hands and knees scrubbing. Having dogs, dog hair, of course, is just a constant fact of live. It's everywhere, get used to it. Well, I vaccuumed all the carpets (maybe 30 sq ft) and my vaccuum had a a cyclone of dog hair. I was kinda grossed out. I vaccuum every couple days to avoid having it get bad, but the dogs are shedding... Yeah, prolly going to daily soon. Anywho, after vacuuming, I swept (another gross pile of hair), and I cleaned the window ledges, the wood, the baseboards, the walls... And then of course mopped.
I then moved on to the kitchen. And I purged everything.Things I bought a while ago, ate a bit of it, then it went stale, but I am too lazy (and money sesitive) to throw away. I organize, I rearrage, I make a shopping list. And then, I deep clean this as well. The counters, the appliances, the floor... eesh, I spill a lot.
By now, my headache has lessened considerably, so I start the laundry. (Last load is currently in the wash.) Then I go shopping while deciding what to make for dinner. After shopping, I put away the groceries. And then prepped dinner.
I got boku kudos from the hubby, cuz he didn't know I was doing all of this. He knew I had a headache, so he thought I wasn't doing anything. Haha. I proved him wrong. So... pretty much that was my day. I need to buy some good dusting things though, because I was kinda failing on that end. But dinners done, so I am going to go eat.
Can you tell that I was bored, and so I wrote a pointless blog??

Blurb
So, there hasn't been much new going on here. The Grandparents are coming in 2 weeks for a quick visit on their driving trip they're taking. Pretty much just living life in the super slow lane. Hehe. We were at a party last night, which was seriously overrated on how "fun" it was going to be. But there was some good pork to eat. Basically, this is just a little blurb saying that we are alive and kicking!
Oh, funny story. We got a Zune (an MP3 player) for Christmas, and within the first few days, it broke. Something internally made some crunching sounds. Anyways, we sent it out a month ago for repairs, and we just got it back today. And on the little peice of paper that came with it said, "We repaired your Zune! We repaired it by REPLACING it." Oh my goodness. That's a failure to fix it. Why couldn't they say something like, We were unable to repair your Zune, but because it was still under warranty, we have replaced it with a new one. Jeez. And then I was tracking it online with UPS and I watched where it traveled. No joke, it was a long pointless journey. It went from San Antonio, TX to Oklahoma City, OK (which is 200 miles North of where I live) and THEN it came to Altus. That is a pointless 400 miles it traveled.
