My Lesson in Blood Types :D

So, I was in the Drs office (yet again) today to go over results from all this testing I've had done.  And we were talking about my blood glucose test results (normal, don't worry, no diabetes here) and she asked if I had any other questions. And for the past month or so, I have been trying to figure out my blood type.

Well, today I remembered to ask. And I am O+ woo!!! Which means I can give to anyone, but I can only recieve from O+. Luckly, Seth is also O+, which means I can give and get blood from him! Woo! I knew I loved that man! And this also means that Mila is going to also be O+. We can all save eachother!!

Well, I got curious about who I would have gotten the O from, cuz my mom said she was A+, which means my dad would have to be B+ to make my blood type. At first I thought dad would have to be O+, but with my sister being AB+ that wouldn't work. I just picked up the recessive jean from both of them. Unless.... I really am adopted... :P Lols.

Here's the link of where I got all my Blood Types Knowledge..

But that is my super cool knowledge intake for today, woo!

My Alone Time...

Is slowly drawing to a close :P Thank goodness!! Seth sent me an e-mail that made me giggle.
Hilarious. its a total breakdown of this deployment for us. Down to the second. It's my donut of misery. But it makes me want a donut now...

Anyways. Life is pretty boring right now. Not going to lie. Have spent a lot of time in Dr offices, cuz they are paranoid. Tomorrow I am going up to the city to have a level 2 ultrasound done, cuz they are concerned about Mila being too small, cuz when I am in the dr offices, my blood pressure is high-ish, but at home its totally normal. I think it's funny they are concerned about her being small, because last month my ultrasound showed her being about 4 days bigger then they estimate her to be. But whatever. That's what insurance is for.
Exciting news is Lori gets to come back next month! Woo Hoo!! I can't wait! She is staying till 10 days before Seth gets home. I am super excited!!
That's all I got really. But you got another post this month! Aren't you so excited!?

Visitor!!

Well, as I'm sure you know, my little sister Lori came to visit me for a month! It was tons of fun! We didn't do a whole lot of sightseeing, because, well, there isn't much to see here. :P It seemed the gate guards favorite question for her was "How do you like Oklahoma?" Her response "It's very flat." Awesome.

We did drive through the Buffalo and Longhorn reserve, and then we ate at a place called Meers. Its a little resturant/slaughter house type of place that has been here for over 100 years. We had longhorn cheeseburgers. Which I thought was ironic considering where we were at. But they were delicious burgers...

We mainly focused on her school work and just chilled out together. We drove up to Lawton a few times to hang and shop. And that was the extent of everything really. We did lots of crafty things that I've already wrote about... And we set up a friends baby shower. And went on lots of walks. As I am reading this paragraph, I realize how many times I used the word "AND". eesh

Mom complained that I didn't have any pictures to share. So I took some, but they were with my camera phone, because my camera is deployed with Seth. So pardon the quality. But here we are in all our sisterly glory!

Sitting in the airport for one last pic!

Diving home from Lawton and PetSense. Holli likes to be held to sleep...

And it was cute, but fuzzy...
I dunno, are we sisters?

Craftiness...

So, as well as sewing a diaper bag for Mila, I have also now made her 2 blankets. I tied the first one, and sewed the second. Just a word of advice, don't use fuzzy, stretchy material on your first time making a blanket. And I will admit, I threatened to punch the piping, because it wouldn't co-operate with me. It made me giggle every time I said it, which was the whole point.

As well as making my blankets, I also tied one for a friends' baby shower, her baby boys theme is monkeys, if you couldn't guess.....

Well, I think I am all caught up on my craft projects for now, my sewing machine needs a break!

Creativity....

So it's been a while. My bad. So my news is, my little sister Lori is down for some visiting. And while she has been here, we have been super crafty sisters. We have assembled Mila's crib and tied the blanket you see..

And I have also made Mila a diaper bag using the Air Force ABU top, a pink butterfly liner, a lot of thread, and lots of creativity. I got the idea from seeing some purses that had used military camo. So I thought it would be cute making a diaper bag, and using some Curtis nametags and the U.S. Air Force nametape. This is the first sewing job I have done in about, oh, 3 years? It was fun tho, and it was made possible by my mom who bought me the sewing machine for Christmas, and by a friend who had some extra tops that he didn't need. Awesome.... So here are some pics! Woo!!

Miss Lori and I are having fun! I must say, it is nice to have someone else in the house with me!! The only "downside" is we can't go play until Loo has done her schoolwork. :P But it all works out in the end... Oh, Lori is making herself a super cute purse too, but its not done, so there are no pictures yet :P

Other news is Seth gets to come home a week sooner then we thought! Hurray!!! It makes me super happy!! I miss him like crazy! Eventho we do talk daily.. It's not the same....

Well, thats what I got so far!!
