Well, our dishwasher engine just about exploded and caught things on fire. But don't worry, it didn't. Since the day we moved in, our dishwasher has made this ginding sound, but only for a minute or two. Then would stop. Apparently when the power went out it aggrivated the situation. It recently started making that noise constantly during the wash. So I finally called the maintainance office and asked then to take a look because "It sounds like its going to explode". Turns out, it was going to.
But because this was right after the storm, and there were so many other, more important things to deal with, I've had to wait 10 days for them to come back. And during that time we (I) have had to do all the dishes by hand. Which sucked. Don't get me wrong, the boys helped, but when they work all the time, it mainly fell on me to do the dishes.
But not anymore. As of 10 am today, my new (old but still in good shape) dishwasher has been installed. And has an entire load of dishes in it because I boycotted washing them last night. I like the fact it's quiet, and not going to explode. Yay!
In other news, our new roommate purchased Rock Band II, and it is soo much fun. We were up until 1:30 rocking out! We had 2 friends come over and rock out with us. But don't worry, we live in the recently remodled area of housing, and so people are still in the process of moving in, so we have no neighbors that hate us now because of our new (bought off a deployed friend) surround sound. But now we are planning a Flight Party Night for this weekend sometime to Rock Band it up! Me being the Singer and occasionally bass guitar player. Who knew I had such skills?
We also bought ourselves a nice round dining table with 6 chairs. Its used, but in good condition. Yay for us!
I think that's all my recent blog worthy things. Chatch ya next time!

Gotta love those dishwashers!! Especially the quiet ones the operate themselves - and that's usually NOT any living dishwasher! Sounds like RockBand is fun and having a Flight Night is a good way to keep a unit tight-knit. Great Idea!! You might want to think about keeping it going taking turns, or something.
That doesn't sound like any experiences we had in the military.
We got nothing.
We plan on seeing you on March 17th. Is that ok with you?
Totally a good idea! Right now we are kinda bouncing around with rockband and bowling as a bi-weekly type thing. But its mainly been a group of friends going bowling monthly. And grandma, the 17th sounds great. Seths leave starts on the 24th, so it will work.
