So, it has come to my attention that I have been lacking in my blog writing. My Apologies. There has actually been a lot going on and I will share some of that with you.
Let's see. My brother in law and his girlfriend are no longer in the state, and are back in California. There was lots of drama leading up to them deciding to leave (no we didn't kick them out, but we did give them a final move out date). Basically, the girlfriend manipulated as much of the situation as possible. Pitting my husband and I against eachother. Not ok. They ate 1000 worth of groceries in a month, and the applications that they "turned in" were later found under piles of papers. So, let's just say, there is much less stress and anger now.
I got the results of some test I had done a little over a month ago. Not the best news. Let's just say I had a bit of a melt down, and thanks to the support of Seth, my amazing mom, and friends, I am dealing. I have changed how I do things here and it seems to be working. Let's see, I am on 4 medications, and between them, working out regularly, and an overhaul of my diet, I am feeling great. I have lost 4 pounds so far in about 2 weeks, and I'm foreseeing many more to be lost in the future. Seth has been amazingly supportive of me and kicks my butt into the gym, when I let him. Lol
Our relationship is doing great. After a minor blowout when the in law was living with us, things are just easier between us. Plus, us knowing what's "wrong" with me gives more understanding between us. He is my rock right noe... I love him!
My class is going great! The kids are great and I am really enjoying teaching them basic bible stories and concepts. I teach two mornings a week, one night a week, and this upcoming week will be adding another, older class once a week. I love my job!
Uhhh. I think that's it. Love you guys!

Family, Friends and Work
Things are going good here. My brother in law and girlfriend have moved to Oklahoma. It's been pretty fun. When we picked them up, we didn't get home till about 4 am. They've settled in and hopefully will be getting a job soon.
My job is going good. I have been setting up my classroom for mothers day out. The theme for us is "Learning to BEE like Jesus". I didn't come up with it at all. My boss has been looking up themes, and she kept coming back to it. Pretty cool, huh? So my room is almost done at this point. 2-3 wall done. I'll post pictures when it's done, cuz I'm pretty proud of it. =)
Seth has been moved to nights again, covering for someone. So it gets kinda lonely without him at night. But now that I have company, its not as bad as it could've been. =( But he should be back on schedual in a week or so.
It's amazing the family you make when you're in the military. A friend of ours is loaning us there second vehicle while he is deployed, so we don't have 4 people to one car. Amazing right? He is paying the insurance still too. All he asks is to pay for gas and maintain it. Amazing. He is doing this without us asking him. He just showed up on our doorstep yesterday and let us know that it was happening. It is a great relief for us. Yay for good friends!

Reproduce...
I have a funny story to tell you about the word Reproduce. I hope you enjoy it/
Today at work, we were supposed to provide child care while the Sunday School teachers can attend a seminar about how to progress and expand their church and classes. Well, turns out, no kids came. So we were told to go to this seminar, because we do teach the kids on certain days of the week, but we didn't really have to, but if we wanted to get paid for the hours we had to go. It was a snore bore. Like my friend and I were dying. We weren't really paying attention, until the last person got up. He starts something like this." Sunday School classes have to REPRODUCE to expand the church. The daughter classes the mother classes give birth to, the more you churches will grow."
Seriously?!?! We just about died in a fit of giggles. Don't worry, we were seated far away that we disturbed no one. But this guys every analogy had to do with birth and reproduction... I swear they said it like 50 times in 20 minutes. I know it seems a little immature, but I was dying!
In other news:
Seth is working the night sift this week, so I'm super lonely at night after work. Today I got to see him for 85 min. And I miss him. Bad. I miss the lazy evenings together after work. But its just this week, and then he's back to days. Yay!
My bro in law come this weekend to move in with us. I am cautiously excited about it... Hopefully all turns out well with this. I think it will be good for him.
Thats about all. Time for my Harry Potter marathon. I'm a geek, I know. Oh! I saw the new Twilight movie last night, soooo good. Best of the 3 so far!

The time..
Has flown by. Let's see. Two weeks ago was VBS (vacation bible study) where I work, and on Thursday, 3 kid came in sick. And they all wanted me to hold them. I got a seriously bad sore throat. Richard arrived at 3 am on Friday morning, so we ended up just staying awake and talking until 430 when Seth had to get up for work. So I fell asleep about 5ish, and then woke up at 630 to get ready for work.
So when I got off work, Richard woke up and we met Seth for lunch. And then went shopping for food. We ate good while he was here. Mmmhmm. I enjoyed not having to cook, thats for sure. Friday we had this amazing Chicken, Squash and pasta. Mmmm..
Then on Saturday Richard starts the day off creating this amazing BBQ sauce, tinkering around with it. By the way, my taste buds exploded. That afternoon my friend came down to pick her stuff from storage. Making the amount of people staying at my place up to 6. We mainly just chilled and relaxed this day. We had some super delish steak and grilled pineapple and potatoe salad for dinner.
Sunday I woke up and made some super yum blueberry pancakes. Top that with my Strawberry jam....to die for. That afternoon we went to the pool and had a grand ol' time. Richard taught me a better way to stroke while freestyle swimming. We went bowling and met up with some friends there. For dinner we had "Pork Chops to warm your Soul" as Richard called them. Sooo yummy...
And then, Monday morning. I wake up, and have a super bad coughing fit that made it hard/near impossible to breath. Thank goodness Richard was still there. He helped me tons. Needless to say I called out of work. Went to the doc and found out I had a sinus infection, ear infections and lung infection to go with my sore throat. Hurray for me? I called my boss and got the rest of the week off. Richard left this morning to head over to Jules house.
Tuesday and Wednesday were just spent chilling and relaxing and getting better. Our roommate moved out, gave us his washer and dryer. So we gave our friend that was down our old washer and dryer and a spare couch. She was super thankful. I felt good about it. Thursday she and her son went home. And I slept.
Then on the Fourth of July, Seth and I went to the country with some friends and set off a TON of fireworks. Us spending nothing. Yay! And right now, we are just enjoying having the house to ourselves. Until the 17th when my brother in law moves in with us. Seth is going to night flights for a week, so the rest of this week we will be spend staying up late and sleeping in. I am feeling tons better, just some minor congestion. Oh! And I've lost 8 pounds, Yay me!

Working working, working is fun..
So, it's been a while since I wrote. Sorry. I have gotten a job. I like it. I work for a local Baptist church as a teacher/childcare person. I am loving it so far. Love the kids. I'm enjoying having extra money, and it's mainly in the mornings, so I get to spend more time with Seth. Yay! The work is bringing out my inner child and artist. Lol. Lots of painting and coloring. I work with babies some days, and others with 4-6ish year olds. I'm not sure if you can really call it work, Haha.
So. That's about it for me.... I'm healthy, Hubbys healthy... I went to the dentist for the first time in 2 years. My mouth is fine... Yay me! Yea.. Love ya!

Pickles.
So, while I was in California I had wanted to make jam and pickles. But because it was still early in the year, we were unable to do the pickles there. But we were able to make some delish jam.
Well, after weeks of waiting, I finally found some pickling cucumbers! Yay! So, I call my mom, get the reciepe and set about collecting everything I need..
Saturday, I start at 9 am. I don't have a food processer, so I set my coffee table up with a towel, cutting board, and lots of bowls. 2 hours of thinly slicing 14 pounds of cucumbers, "shredding" 4 bell peppers (My grater wasn't working so I had to cut up the bells super small) and thinly slicing 14 tiny onions. It was tedious. 3 hours of dehydrating the cucs while I went grocery shopping. Then making the syrup. Then combining. Then boiling the cars... I wasn't done till about 5. Just in time to start making dinner.=)
I am super excited. They taste great. Apparently roomie doesn't like my pickles, but that just means more for Seth and Me! He couldn't understand why I made so many jars tho. He thinks I am crazy. Oh well.

Mom!
So, I am lame. I totally forgot Sunday was Mother's day. And so I forgot to call, email, mail, or otherwise inform my mother that I think she is FREAKING AMAZING!!
Seriously, my mom is my role modle on so many aspects of life. She has always been there for me to let me vent, so whine too, and get sage, sound advice. Literally on almost every topic. She seems to be an endless fountain of knowledge. Whenever I call her, and I am freaking out about whatever, her first words always seem to be, "calm down, breath, tell me what's going on..everything's going to be fine"
I remember, when I was about 17(?) I would wait up real late for her to get home from work, just to talk. And no matter how dog tired we were, would would talk for at least an hour. I always valued our time together.
She has given everything to her kids. Anything she can do for them, she does. She will support us on almost everything we set our minds to. She loves us no matter how bad we mess up. She taught me the meaning of unconditional love.
She has taught me soo many things. The most resent being how to make jam, and refreshing my memory on how to grow a garden in a pot. I never realized how many things I know how to do, that I thought were common knowledge things, were taught to me because my mom knew I should know them when I grow up.
I know how privledged I feel being able to call her MY mother. I love her soo much!
